These are master alloys of Copper which are required for Remelting & alloying to produce finished industrial castings. Aluminium Copper Alloys are mainly used in Aircraft Construction where their low corrosion resistance plays a subordinate role. Corrosion resistance can greatly be enhanced by the Metallurgical Bonding of high purity Aluminium surface Layer referred to as alclad-duralam.
